And yes... we kept it ALL WHEEL DRIVE from the X5. It uses the N62TU engine and the 6HP26X transmission. The transmission will use our custom converter, computer and transbrake.

RX7 with BMW V8 muffler trials

After a few street cars got our patented transmission computer system we made a racing simulator to actually simulate the new clutchless transmission controls that are in the real cars! This racing simulator actually has one of our transmission computers controlling the transmission! Listen to the transmission shifts, watch the gear display on the screen and compare it to the feet and hands while driving around the track. The trans doesn't respond to "neutral" only a numbered selection.  

The refresh rates didn't line-up between the screen and the camera so it looks odd in the video but the screen looks and works nicely in real view from the driver seat. The original E30 dash cluster housing was used and the insides gutted. Carved the platic a bit and made the new centersection to house all the gauges, trip button and display screen from 4D systems. 

The 1997 BMW 528i came with a slow poke of an engine and a not so great gear set match in the transmission. They tried to make up for this terrible combination with a 4.10 rear differential and for what was usually needed out of this type of vehicle it worked. A few years newer of the same vehicle got the gm 5L40e transmission with better gears and to make sure it stayed slow they opted for a 3.46 differential. We put the better trans with the better diff and a high stall converter and wow

The 335 was modded but no telling with what and the M60 BMW engine was a GetawaycarZ.com project. The 335 didn't want to do a stop then go so we did their rolling then go run.

First manual valve body allison 1000 6 speed, yes in a BMW. You've been there with a project. Things aren't finished but it will move under its own power so you just go! We can tune the carb, swap the converter and bleed the brakes later!
